متین قربانی، باریستای جوانی بود که در تاریخ ۱۲ خرداد ۱۳۸۱ به دنیا آمد. او در سن ۲۳ سالگی، در تاریخ ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴ در فردیس کرج، در جریان اعتراضات با شلیک مستقیم نیروهای امنیتی به قتل رسید. همسرش، مهسا، عکسی جانسوز از پیکر بیجان او را در اینستاگرام منتشر کرد. یاد او به عنوان "فرزند ایران" و "جانفدای میهن" گرامی داشته میشود و مراسم زادروز او نیز پس از مرگش برگزار شد.
